Wireless Talking Oven & Barbeque Thermometer
Astronauts didn’t risk it all just to come back with a bag of rocks. They helped develop and test tech we use everyday along with tang and velcro. Now you wouldn’t expect them to just use a plain old thermometer to barbeque either. Thankfully Oregon Scientific, who cost you a bundle for that calculator in high-school, got inventive and developed the Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking Oven/Barbeque Thermometer ($38). Just put the pointy end into your dinner and walk/drive away because the remote receiver will let you watch your meal cook on an LCD screen up to 330 feet away.
Preprogrammed are 8 entrée, 4 doneness settings along with verbal alerts. So the next time your friend’s beeper goes off, he just may be running home to feed the family.
